hahaha I WANNA KNOW!!!!
oh well. just gotta try and get it off our minds for awhile. focus on.. high school.

According to some RHP people that I know, since almost all RHP students get some kind of scholarship, they usually get notified of getting into USC early February, which in turn means that they got into RHP. However, the official RHP letters don't get sent till later. I think that's how it works...

Nikara,
thank you. That was such a relief to hear!

Yeah, that's right. I got my official letter very early March. Trustee scholarship candidates (and maybe Presidential) are notified the earliest, late January/early February.

thanks guys

You overachievers all make me sick to my stomach.. :(

sorry man. but im not an overachiever, im a slacker.

zee- yea i didnt take the SAT. i got 33 ACT tho.

I GOT MY RHP ACCEPTANCE LETTER YESTERDAY!!

I haven't really posted on this forum, but I've kept close tabs on it since October...thanks, everyone, who has shared your application experience/advice here. My name is Tiffany, and I go to school in Palos Verdes.

Good luck to you all! I'll be seeing some of you in the fall, I suppose :D

pray monday.. monday... monday...

:(

congrats though, epiphany

did you rhp kids get the letter or the entire packet?

I got the entire packet. It had a welcome booklet and housing options info.

i am in!!!! YAY RHP

This sounds like a stupid question, but what is the RHP anyways?

pmcharkins, read the first pages of this thread...

Hey. I just got in too. Do you guys know much about scholarships cause I don't.

Well, I got a letter saying they didnt receive some of my materials. Which is a lie because I sent everything in one big envelope, so there is absolutely no way that the only things they didnt receive were my personal statement and freshman form, when I sent those in with everything else. So I'm thinking they lost it, but my mom (who's a college professor) says the admissions department rarely loses anything, at least at her school...so...

The letter was postmarked January 23. I sent the missing materials later about four days later. So I probably wont get my letter until....next week at earliest? T__T I want to get in, but I really doubt I will.

I made a mistake in sending my SAT score (really ugly). My ACT score should've been eough.

Oh well.

Congrats to everyone who got in!

Oh yeah, I'm from Illinois, so does that lower my chances drastically? I think the stats were like 50% of the students are Cali residents.

Wow, I'm so nervous right now. Why did I even come here?! aghhh.

No, it helps you. USC wants regional diversity.

note to all RHP applicants:

i received a letter date the 23rd from the office of admission telling me that my personal statement and academic history form were missing. confused, i emailed Diane Lipovsky (penny's assistant). she told me that due to a glitch in the admission system, letters were sent to all RHP applicants telling them that items were missing. gateway will also say that items are missing. this is not true. you're fine!

i received my "missing" letter last friday and my acceptance packet on monday.... obviously i wouldnt not have been admitted if those items were truly missing.

Oh. I see. I guess I should've called them.

Oh well. I guess that's a rejection then.
