Ribaya for LS3 and Pau for 6C..??

Im taking these two classes next quarter. Wondering what you've heard/experienced about these professors (they aren't on bruinwalk).

thanks

i'm taking ls 3 with ribiya this quarter. He's a pretty good professor. Really easy to approach. Just took the first midterm and the class average was a 73 and a sd of 13. Heh I was disappointed with my score bc I didn't make it above average. But yea, this class is harder than i thought it would be. got to put in more effort. Hope this helps.

^thanks! anyone else?

I had Ribaya for LS4 over the summer. I also think he's a pretty good professor..he's young so he's a pretty cool guy, though some jokes are corny, haha. Very friendly & willing to help. Lectures were fairly easy to understand.

What I didn't like though was how the exam problems were harder than the practice problems in lecture/discussion...you really had to think and take it 1-2 steps further than the practice problems. The final especially seemed like it came out of nowhere...I wasn't the only one who felt this way.

I don't know if this applies to LS3 though, I didn't take LS3 here and don't know the format of the class. Hope it's some help.
