Is the deadline for Rice/Baylor Program postmarked or receiving?
If receiving, then I'm screwed since I have to do express mail and who knows when it will get there...
I did not have time to do any serious college app work until Thanksgiving break and I worked on the main applications first before doing any for programs and such.
T.T

You should be fine so long as it is postmarked by the 1st!

are you guys sure?? i checked online and it says: Students who wish to be considered for the Rice/Baylor Program must submit the Common Application, the Rice Supplement to the Common Application, and the Rice/Baylor Medical Scholars Application to Rice by December 1, 2009.

i wish it were clearer =\ i really don’t want to fedex…

Yes I’m 110% sure. Submit = Mail. Any deadline to mail something in is the postmark deadline. That goes for college apps, scholarships, taxes etc…

well for my app for a&m academic scholarships, that deadline (dec 1st) is the receiving deadline. i just want to be really really sure. have you applied for this program before? i’m sorry that i cannot take your word for it just yet because this is a very important program for me
i don’t like the instructions that they give because it is so unclear. i’m sending the app by express mail hoping that they will accept it at noon on Dec 1st since i’m mailing it on the 30th. i’m not even sure if they want it stapled or not because sometimes the application says to. it’s so vague and they might expect everyone to staple cuz its common sense or whatever.
blahhh if i make it into rice, i’m going to ask them to be more clear on their instructions so that future applicants dont have to freak out like i am right now
