I already know I’m not going to get in, but thank you all for being so supportive!! Good luck!!
Maybe this is an indicator: Esther > Office of Financial Aid > Award Status > Financial Aid Requirements >
and then under ‘Eligibility Requirements for Award Year 2017-2018’ look at Satisfied Requirements. My FAFSA is there but if you look at 2018-2019 then it says ‘No student requirements have been established for the aid year’ correlating to an admission decision or not? Just like to see a disparity in other people’s ESTHERs for future applicants.
I keep seeing Esther but I have no idea what it is… is it not part of the application for international students?
Esther is the financial aid portal. It shows everything that you’ve submitted and what is still missing from your financial aid file.
@omarmkahmad on our 17-18 "Satisfied Requirements"it has W-2’s, Tax returns, etc. On 18-19 it shows all of the FAFSA, IDOC, CSS Profile, etc.
@JenniferFeng2000 It is also for tracking financial aid requirements for the new applicants. If you didn’t apply for the financial aid, you can safely ignore it (I think).
What do you guys think the chances are that Rice comes out today at 5?
Personally I think it’s unlikely that they’d stray from the pattern they’ve followed in the past (2nd/3rd friday)
They’re out
