I'm in MD and nothing came today.

i have a good feeling that most of us will know tomorrow. Keep wishin for it!

So nobody heard anything today?

ah. the prophet of Rice ID admissions hath spoken. let's hope he isnt a false prophet ;)

nope nothing here, and im in tx...i REALLY hope its tomorrow; i don't think i can take it any longer.....does anyone know if the decision comes via regular us postal service mail or do they send it by ups or what?

Well I doubt they send it FedEx or anything... if the people in Texas get it tomorrow, should people on the East Cost get it the same day or a day later? Anyone's parents work for the Postal Service?

oh. important question. do acceptances come in thick or thin envelopes?

Based on last year's posts, they send acceptances priority mail and rejections/deferrals regular. That didn't seem to interfere with when people got it, though. (i.e., accepted applicant's didn't hear first). Most people on the East Coast got it one day after Houston heard, some heard two days after. Letters seemed to reach the East Coast before they reached the West Coast. Hoped that helped. :)

Good luck to everyone who applied this year. I myself will apply next year, and by just reading all your posts I'm getting pretty nervous. (I dont know what I would do if I didnt get in..... probably weep....)

The acceptance letter is not really fat. It is in a large envelope and does contain a blue folder. I think the rejection is just in a standard envelope.

thanks pilebay. so we will basically know as soon as we open our mailbox. how frightening lol

If Houston doesn't hear until tomorrow (at the earliest), East Coasters might not hear until Friday (if what you're saying is true), and by then, we might as well check online.

Hell hath no fury like a rejected high school senior. This would be #2 for me... really nervous.

where did you get rejected, MDPKV?

i got accepted!!!!!!!

pysch.... lol sorry guys.....

i have a good feeling my acceptance letter, hopefully ahah, will be coming in tomorrow too...

so nervous :(

ah that was just mean and lame, lol

i am still scared..... agh so much stress

If this year follows last year's pattern, letters go out tomorrow, which means most Texans will hear tomorrow, most of the rest of the country on Thursday, and the stragglers on Friday and Saturday. Online decisions should be posted by sometime on Friday at the latest. Everyone should know by the end of the week.

I live in Houston and well check my mail promptly afterschool. Lovely little rejection letter.

--Tri

I just wanted to say good luck to everyone that is waiting. I remember how hard it was to wait especially towards the end. You will most likely be able to check online at five o' clock CST.

ditto w/pilebay!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!

just remember that everything happens for a reason and whatever happens, happens! that said, im sure you all will be very happy wherever you finally choose!

the login page doesn't seem to be working right now............!!! Oh, I'm certainly scared, I wonder if that means they're uploading right now
