<p>I plan on applying to Rice University's BS/MD 8 year program. I realize that it is very competitive and only 14 people get accepted.
I was just wondering what type of stats do you need to be accepted? and if someone is already attending, please tell me your stats and what made you special.
My stats are:
ACT: 36
GPA: 3.9
100+ hours of volunteering at a hospital
Shadowed a doctor
50+ hours of tutoring
Several school clubs</p>

<p>Any suggestions and comments would be very much appreciated.</p>

and several honors, and the ability to graduate early.</p>
