The way I see it, NYU Stern is 4 years of moving and shaking, constant internship, high stress, and high career reward. Rice is more of 4 years of relaxing and enjoying the college experience then being a little more clueless out of college. UCLA I don't know enough about.

I am not sure about what I am to pursue for a career.

Of the three, can someone perhaps point out the defining factors? I live in the state of Texas.

Rice seems the best prospect right now because of the enjoyment factor, smaller size, college campus unity, and the better recognition out of the three. I do, however, know that my focus will be somewhere in the social sciences and this is not Rice's forte. I also would optimally not like to have to deal with Texas weather and/or people, the people part being because of the people I have dealt with where I live thus far, very offensive, non-accepting, completely contrary to the "Southern-hospitality" image that Texas is perceived with.

Thank you.
