How hard are the classes at UCSB, is there alot of homework, how hard is it to get 4.0?

I am just wondering because I am considering attending a UC for a year and then transferring to another school, and was just wondering which UC might be the best choice for this scenario because I don't want to be at a place where I can't get good enough grades to transfer...

Oh sorry, forgot to include that im not planning on transferring to another UC, I am planning on transferring to USC, I spoke with their admissions counselors and they said that there is no advantage to transferring from a CC versus a UC...

Be that as it may, USC does have articulation agreements with certain CCs and none with any 4 year schools, hence attending a CC establishes a clearer path to increasing your chance of admission. I would still advise attending a CC would be the better route for you. In particular, El Camino College, in Torrence, is major feeder school for USC. So is Santa Monica College.

eh, I'll just go to UCSB, its all good, Ill talk to the admission counselors about it cuz they offered me one on one services to talk about planning my first year of college in a way that would help me transfer

hiii pmcharkins, i got accepted to UCSB too but they don't have film, so I'm going to Chapman and then transfering to USC, haha hopefully I'll see you there (it's so funny to see all the old USC forum kids on other forums, miss you guys :[)

I got into UCSB too. I'm most likely going there if my appeal to USC doesn't get me in. And then transferring to USC for sophomore year. Maybe I'll see you around campus pmcharkins. :-P

Are you going to the Spring Insight thing for UCSB?
