Can any current students speak to the rigor of UCLA, specifically those of a biology and/or engineering major? How hard is it to balance social life between those majors? Can you talk about grade deflation and bell curve (might go pre-med)? Thank you.
Classes for north campus are easy. Classes for stem range from hard to almost impossible. Balancing a social life with classes all depends on the person. Some people study all day and thoroughly enjoy it! Others party 2-3 times a week and do just fine. I personally haven’t found it hard to balance classes with clubs and having “fun” during the week. Grade deflation is real so you have to stay on top of things. Hope this helps!
