so I was wondering how far Rimac (I think that is the new gym?) is from Muir?</p>
<p>I went to Admit Day yesterday, and I remember RIMAC being way on the other side of campus from Muir. It's like a 15-20 minute walk. Correct me if I'm wrong though...I was pretty delirious from the heat yesterday!</p>
<p>Around a 10-15 minute walk depending on walking speed. If you're in Muir, you'll probably want to use Main Gym (that's the gym's name, its not actually the main gym), which is less than 5 minutes away.</p>
<p>or you can be a lazy bastard and hop on a shuttle</p>
<p>it always amuses me as to why people freak out about the gym being so far away when you're going to work out in the first place :)</p>
<p>It's also amusing when people take the shuttle to go run on treadmills at the gym.</p>
<p>There is also main gym, which is a 2 min walk. It's smaller, but sufficient.</p>

<p>it was called main gym bc it was the only gym when ucsd was only made up of revelle and muir ( and theres also a pool there).... but now we have rimac... its nice =) if youre trying to work out then im sure that you wouldnt mind a little of a walk too</p>
