<p>Does anyone have any idea when the RIT portal might have any new information regarding application status? Is anyone finding ANY information on here about the status of their application?</p>

<p>I’ve called twice this week, getting the run-around between computer services and admissions. Finally, someone said, “yes, there is a problem”. They also said that admissions decisions are posted on the portal before the snail mail comes out. All the more reason to get it fixed!!!</p>
<p>When are they reviewing our applications? I sent mine like last week. and applied to HEOP. When can we track our status?</p>
<p>Once they process your application, you should get a letter or email telling you how to access the portal. Hopefully, yours will appear with all your information in it!</p>
<p>Do you know if HEOP acceptance letters will made after i file the FAFSA? or I can get a decision before that?</p>
<p>Anyone else’s portal STILL not updated? S’s still encourages him to apply. His application has been COMPLETE since September or October! AARRGGHHH!!!</p>
<p>I think its because RIT doesn’t do rolling admissions and they update your portal near the deadline? Unless you are doing ED.</p>
<p>My S’s application is for ED, deadline was 12/1. Oh well.</p>
<p>If you applied common app, you won’t get any acknowledgment that they received your application. We had to call and check if they received it. They told us they received everything and to create a portal account. However whenever we try to create an account we keep getting a proxy error? Anyone know anything about that?</p>

<p>D applied Common App and was able to set up her portal with no problem. I think they sent her an e-mail with instructions.</p>
<p>Okay so i logged into the portal. How can we check our status? It says to apply for undergrad or grad or something. I already applied using common app.</p>
<p>Ours had a checklist. Items seemed to gradually update. When she was accepted it changed to some sort of “congratulations you have been accepted” message (she was ED).</p>

<p>mamaduck, I think you answered the question I was going to post. Will they let us know online of acceptance? Sounds like they do! Thanks. My son was RD, so we have a long wait. Congrats on your daughter getting accepted!</p>
<p>Applied early decision for my son and still haven’t heard anything. How can we see if he got accepted online?</p>
<p>Call admissions, get transferred to computer services, speak again to admissions until you find someone who realizes that the portal system has screwed up for numerous kids, go back to computer services, take a screen shot of portal not registering admissions check list, wait 24 hours, hopefully all will be updated and you will have a screen with an acceptance note. At least that was the procedure for us.</p>
<p>Called the computer services department and they couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t take the password and we rechanged the password and kept getting an error message. She suggested I call the admissions directly…fingers crossed!</p>
<p>Okay something is wrong with my portal… Now it wont let me log in.</p>
