Accepted today! Applied 1/3
@Sugoi15: Awesome, congrats! How did you find out?
Accepted today via email! (I applied in November)
Congrats to those who have being accepted.
I was accepted as well today (Applied Dec 31)
Who here is going to the Renaissance & Global Scholarship interview?
Had to call the Admissions Office to get the correct username since my MyROC and was under two accounts and my application was linked to one I didn’t know the information for. The lady on the phone got to hear me freak out when I finally got to login and saw my decision! Congrats to everyone else who have been accepted!
D accepted today as well. Applied around 12/28. Nice to hear and good luck to all those still awaiting news!
Everyone post stats on results thread
I am so excited! My son was accepted today!! (He’s still asleep and doesn’t even know) They mentioned his music as one reason why. So thrilled for him!
I was accepted but there is no information on my portal about financial or merit aid. Does that mean I didn’t get anything or they just didn’t release it yet?
Congrats to everyone finding out and will be joining my daughter in August! jamesjunkers hang in there! ccteen, not unusual. Financial aid should come a week or two after acceptance…merit aid too. My D was accepted last Monday, and just got merit the other day. Still waiting on the FA report!
Ok…so I’m a little confused. Should my son expect to hear if he’s accepted or not via email or traditional mail?
My daughter heard via regular snail mail.
By email (But I am an international student)
wow finally moved to step 4 after roughly 2 months…
Interesting… So, it seems that only some students get emails. My son applied late November and he’s on step 4 as of early this week. Like everyone else we’re trying to be patient!!
My son’s account is still on step 4, but he got an email saying to go to the account. When you go there, there’s a pop up with the acceptance letter.
@jboysmom My son received the mail before his email. I think the email went out around 4 or 5 pm. So it is very possible you’ll get an email later this afternoon…mail delivery is a lot less predictable. They may also be batching the emails when they sent a few weeks ago
@sbjdorlo, I was hopping your son would make it-I knew he would! Congrats!
My S got a merit award the following week after acceptance, and they announced that need-based aid will come by March 27. Good luck!
Thank you so much, @Marylandfour! My dh was like, “It’s so far”, but I told him it was an amazing school. I think I like the fact that the students are happy most of all! We’ll hope for enough aid!
Congratulations to all of those who got in! I guess Rochester hasn’t sent any rejections yet?
