Roll Tide Elephants

Earlier this year, I crocheted a set of 4 elephants for my daughter as suite decorations. I made one each in burgundy, gray, white, and black. She has the first two sitting in her Ridgecrest South-North living room.

I just talked to her, and her neighbors love them so much they wanted to know if I’d make them some. So I told her to make a list of who wants which colors, and said she could also take the black and white ones down to whoever wants them.

I hope I don’t end up with a bazillion requests. I may have to drive down one Saturday and teach them all how to make them for themselves. Either that or Abby may have to help me make them over fall break or Thanksgiving break.

Here’s a link to see how cute they are: [Ravelry: AmyS’s Roll Tide Elephants!](<a href=“Ravelry: AmyS's Roll Tide Elephants!”>http://www.ravelry.com/projects/AmyS/amigurumi-elephant?)

I am a knitter…these are darling! Roll Tide!

Amy, oh my gosh, these are absolutely adorable. If you are interested in selling me one I would love to purchase one from you to give my daughter as a Christmas gift. Please pm me if you are interested.

So cute! I would also be interested in purchasing one for a Christmas gift! PM me if you are interested.

I’m so glad you all like them! Unfortunately, I doubt you’d want to pay what I’d have to charge for them. :)

Each one takes about two hours to make, plus just a couple of dollars in materials.

If anybody wants to learn to make them, they’re really not that difficult. I could walk you through it all here, and direct you to a site where you can watch videos to learn to make the stitches required (slip stitch, single crochet). It’s a free pattern that anyone can download.

Super cute! Roll tide!!

I’m game to try to make one on my own. I haven’t crocheted in years, but this would be a nice winter project. I’d love a supply list and instructions when you get the time Bamamom!
