Rolling and Early Action

<p>The school that I am referring to is Binghamton.</p>

<p>I thought that Binghamton was either Early Action or Regular decision. However, recently, I found out that Binghamton was rolling as well.</p>

<p>What exactly does this mean? If I apply early action, could I possibly find out before the decisions are released? Or are the decisions released on the same date, and the school is rolling in the sense that they make decisions as they go and don't release them but spots fill up?</p>

<p>I'm confused -_-</p>
