Hey everyone, I just got the invite to the Hammond weekend and was wondering how many people usually get this award. If anyone has any information on the scholarship that would be really helpful!
Congratulations on being nominated for this very prestigious scholarship! My daughter has been hoping to be selcted (she is Native American), but unfortunately she hasnt heard anything.

Thankyou @momof2ct I’m actually Egyptian and I don’t mean to be insensitive to other races but it seems like they target african americans to receive the award. I wrote my essay on my diversity and thats why I think I got the nomination. I’m not actually expecting to get the scholarship but its worth the try
When I received the scholarship, 1200 applied, around 120 were selected to interview, 80 showed up, 50 were offered the scholarship (the normal amount). Around 30 students accepted it. Hope that helps!
Anybody else receive an invitation? Have all invitations been sent out by now?
