<p>you know what I dont get? if revelle always houses overflows..why dont they refurbish it so its actually OK to live there?!?!?! revelle has the oldest dorms..so why does a muir dom get new paint and carpets (muir is already popular as it is..with new stuff..they will be even more popular)? seriously...if they actually made the revelle dorms better..more ppl would apply to revelle and there wouldnt be overflow AT revele...cus ppl will be equally spread out. same goes for revelle food. AGHHH. im from revelle btw</p>

<p>I went into tioga.. and the walls are still cinderblocks (but nice freshly painted cinderblocks haha). The carpet is new, everything is re-painted, there are new sinks, showers, etc. No huge changes, it just looks nice. I liked Tioga/Tenaya before..
I don't know if the furniture will be new.. the rooms were still empty (at least on the 6th floor)</p>

<p>Was Tioga the only res-hall painted? I drove past UCSD a few weeks ago and caught a glimpse of Muir and it looked like Tenaya was being painted, too.</p>

<p>I heard that Tenaya is to be renovated too, soon after Tioga, but I didn't expect it to be this soon. I thought it was to be in 2007 or whatnot.</p>
