<p>I'm a freshman here and was just wondering how the system for picking your rooms for next year worked? I'm sure each dorm differs slightly, and I probably could ask someone in my dorm, but I was just curious if any of you all knew what goes on and around what time the whole process begins? Thanks!</p>

<p>It should happen in a few months. Basically, you have to confirm that you will live on campus the next year. Once you do that, you get a lottery number within your class. Then the seniors pick, then juniors, and so on.</p>
