<p>I just did my big bridal-scanning-extravaganza at Bed Bath and Beyond and realized how nice it would be to know who I was rooming with, not to mention I’ve been hearing from all my friends about how they facebooked their roomies.</p>
<p>Does anyone know when we are supposed to find out about roommate and room assignments?</p>
<p>It’s been 6 years ago now (WOW), but I remember the summer before my D started, it also seemed to her like all of her friends knew before she did. In fact, we were on a beach vacation some time around the last of July or maybe the first week or so in August when she found out who her roomies were. She emailed and called them right away and was so very excited!! They had a fantastic first year together!</p>
<p>Have you gotten and filled out the housing survey yet? That definitely happens first…</p>
<p>We filled out housing stuff by June 8. I’m getting anxious about this as well. I just want to know! so much excitement!</p>
<p>Then I would say around the end of this month. I know it seems like forever!!!</p>

<p>The summer before my first year, I received an e-mail on July 31st notifying me that I could find out which room I was in and who my roommate was on eBear. Which I then did. 
Also, don’t freak out if you can’t contact your roommate immediately. Mine was vacationing in Turkey, which is why she didn’t get back to me right away. Definitely a cool excuse!</p>
