I'm posting this because I am at my wits end and don't know what to do. My Roommate and I are acquaintances at best. We've been rooming together for three months and just haven't clicked. I try to talk to her, but she's cold and just won't let me in. She's seems to get along fine with our two other roommates. They talk, hang out, and seem to have a good relationship. I don't know what her deal is, but she just doesn't want to try with me...

Anyway, the only time she really talks to me is when she has a problem with me. A month or so ago I get a text complaining about how our room is too cold and we need to do something about. I text back and say okay will talk when I get back. Long story short, she thinks the room is cold because my bed is blocking the heater and I need to do something about it (Note: The bed is rather high off the ground and there is at least a 2-3 feet between my heater and the bed) I ask her what she wants me to do. She wants me to move my bed...after some arguing back a forth we agree to move my bed against the other wall, so the heater isn't blocked.

The next day when we go to move the bed she tells me we can't do it because then my bed will be going into her bed. She then proceeds to tell me I have to switch sides with her because her bed is lofted thus the heat will be able to disperse throughout the room. I tell her no, I don't want to move all my stuff, I like where my bed is (I'm next to the window) and then all the ugliness begins. She begins to leaving me messages on our white board telling me I have to move my bed or she'll go to the RA and he'll make me. I go to the RA and talk to him and he says the rooms run cold and he can't make me move my bed.

I tell her this and she kinda shuts up about the issue. Then today (two weeks later) I get a text from the CA ( a person slight under the RA) saying my roommate talked to him and we need to mediate the issue... I was more then ****ed off, I thought the issue was over with. So tonight I talked with him and her and am left complete baffled and irritated.

He told me I have to move my bed. Didn't listen to my side of the story at all and my roommate sat there with a smug little look on her face then left. It wasn't mediation at all. I'm sorry I wrote so much, I just want peoples opinion... Oh, and also where they want me to move my bed is in front of my closet, complete blocking it.... I just want to move out and get a different roommate. Am I being ridiculous, I just feel like I'm being backed into a corner.
