Hello,
I really want to go into the Ross school , but i got a problem. Michigan asks for 4 essays and in 1 of those essays (About why i wanna go to LSA and which major) i gotta emphasize about my love for the major im gonna choose while in the ross essay i have to tell em why i wanna get a BBA . Now if i choose to apply to ross (which i want to) wont it seem strange than in 1 essay im telling them about my passion for my major at lsa while in the other im telling em why i want a bba?

Can anyone who has gotten into ross or who is applying tell me how they handled these essays?

If you get in to Ross you still take about half of your classes in LSA. BBA's can double-major or get minors in LSA fields. They won't be turned off by you having a passion for something in LSA.

You should apply for next year which I think is a more pragmatic path. A year in LSA allows you to explore liberal arts which serve as an excellent intellectual foundation to your business education. Moreover, the route to the B-School is easier when you apply as a sophomore, the acceptance rate is nearly thrice as much as the pre-admit level, from what I've heard.
