route from UCSD to UCLA.. help please!!

<p>Has anyone ever had to make commutes between UCLA and UCSD? I'd really need your help!</p>

<p>I'm going to have to travel to UCSD several times a year while attending UCLA. I have a route worked out to get there, but am having some trouble finding a good way back. The route that I'm considering is</p>

<p>Taking the NCTD 101 to Solana Beach Station
Amtrak 567 to LA Union Station
Santa Monica Big Blue route 10 to Santamonica&bundy
Santamonica Big Blue route 1 to UCLA</p>

<p>I'm a bit stressed out by this because I'm unfamiliar with public transportation. So I'd appreciate any and all help! Thanks so much!!</p>

<p>I heard some people take the Amtrak to union station. Or you could try finding a ride by posting on the UCLA facebook page? I feel like a reasonable amount of people life in San Diego.</p>
