I just applied as an international transfer student this year, but I was rejected. I need full financial aid, and I think that that was the major reason for my rejection.
I’m a sophomore at college and it’s been six years since I finished high school, so I’m eligible to apply for the RUE program. However, considering that I need full financial aid, do you guys think I stand any chances? I really don’t want to waste tons of money again. Thanks!

Unless you are an international student who is a US citizen, I think your likelihood of being a RUE contender needing full financial aide is very remote. (Unless you have some incredible background of self reliant accomplishment (like leading an NGO in a third world country or some other outstanding service that would have also precluded you from setting aside a college fund.))

Here in my country, the best colleges and universities are public, and all public universities here are free of costs, that’s why we don’t set aside a college fund here.

Do you know if another college or university has a similar program?
