Rutgers Early Action for Fall 2022 Admission

more than likely a volume problem= processing record # apps w/ remote staff. Rutgers is not known to play games with yield. You can confirm w/ Naviance- no red Xs in top right corner of scatter. The good news is that reg dec is end of Feb, not April like many schools

Funny, my daughter just emailed as well (also deferred). In her case Rutgers received her transcript from the community college she’s dual-enrolled at in early Jan. On top of that, a full mid-year report was submitted to the coalition application mid-Jan. There is no need for the SRAR. They received her official transcripts and documents yet are requesting a SRAR. So confusing.

While this was certainly unexpected, the end of February isn’t too bad as long as honors programs are still an option.

And yes, he has other good options.

They need the SRAR unless you’ve graduated.

SRAR is a way for them to normalize the data for large vol of applicants without data entry and recalculating every disparate grading system- many of which are designed to inflate grades, e.g. 6.0 scales including extra weighting for phys ed classes,
, i.e., all 4.0 are not the same

Well, she just went in to do the SRAR and in that section. It states “updated senior grades”, but there is no check that it’s complete. There is no way you can do the SRAR.

I’m assuming they have her grades. Most are from a community college so not inflated. Also, the school doesn’t weigh a grade scale.

I think a lot of people that applied the second half of October got deferred, I don’t think it’s a stats issue because I know a lot of very strong applicants that were also deferred last night, ex. 4.6 GPAs, 1400+ SATs
Might just be that they needed to give applicants a response before Jan 31st so they put deferred on the ones they didn’t get to yet. Rutgers doesn’t admit by major, but by school.

True. I still don’t understand how people who applied for regular decision got a decision back though. I have a friend who applied in mid November and got a decision in the second week of December (before mine). I got into everything and my gpa was a 3.7 so I’m guessing those kids with 4.6 will get in before feb 30th.

Does anyone know what the acceptance rate is for Rutgers New Brunswick Nursing?

I am from india and we follow cbse, and we havent got any new grades to add what should I do to my srar?

I dont think its SAT not being submitted; my daughter did not submit hers. I think they just ran out of time because not much will change in a couple weeks

I guess only thing that changed is midterm grades and I would imagine they are pretty consistent for most kids. So stressful

does anyone know if all EA’s are coming out tomorrow? i read on the website that it says Jan 31st in one section and Feb 15th in a paragraph after that.

Did anyone receive decisions from honors college or honors programs?

I’m not an expert, but I would suggest sending an email to Admissions letting them know of your continued interest and explaining the situation.

I’m not sure if you have any other type of information update that would be relevant to your review, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask them if there is any other info that you can send to aid in the review. Good luck!

Did anyone else get an email to set up myRutgers? It says there is an enrollment pathway tab but I didn’t see it. I’m not sure what to in the portal.

I think they’ve incorporated the Enrollment Pathway tab into the dashboard:

There’s not much you can do there right now anyway, the Fall semester stuff will be activated some time in March. All you can do now is upload your picture and update the emergency contacts I think.

We don’t even have that in the portal. Did you accept yet?

Yes, my daughter has committed.

How do you remove your application for consideration?
My daughter has emailed admissions. They do not answer the question.
They repeat a script that has nothing to do with the question. They want a SRAR however, This is what my daughter’s SRAR looks like:
There is NO WAY for her to do SRAR. You cannot click on that.

Edited to add, both schools sent mid-year reports. Nowhere in her portal does it have a place for her to do a SRAR, yet the admissions is telling her to do a SRAR.
I am nervous as a parent to send a kid (she’s #4 for me) to a university that doesn’t address questions.
