I’ve been hearing that Rutgers look at your gpa from freshen to junior year, is that true, or do they look at your overall gpa from all four years?
They look at your GPA from freshman, sophomore, junior and the first half of senior year. They look at your first half of senior year if you get waitlisted and you’ll have to submit a final transcript no matter what.

The first half of senior year they will only look at the courses you are taking especially if you are applying Early Action. My son was admitted into the Engineering program this year and they did NOT want (nor considered) his grades for first and second marking periods. As the other poster indicated, they will only request them if you are waitlisted. Therefore, having strong freshman through junior year grades helps tremendously.
