We still dont know… Nothing updated. She even got financial aid package today … No scholarship on there. Tried calling but was at work and I was on hold for ten minutes. Ended up just leaving a message. We are thinking its probably a smaller scholarship… The larger ones were probably done weeks ago. :-S

@CBMOM22 - I was on hold with admissions a couple of weeks ago for a total of 40 minutes (3 calls, each one ending in my giving up). My impression is that they’re not really concerned about your inconvenience . I did get through when calling first thing when they opened (9 am), so maybe try that. I hope you get good news.

Back in January I received Carr scholarship for SAS and today I received the Carr scholarship again but separately for Mason Gross, both $10,000. How does this work if I plan on double-majoring with both schools? Do I only receive one of the scholarships?

@amberc96 wondering the same thing, I think that’s what happened with scholarship update that I can apply it to MG also

Did anyone receive a scholarship for pharmacy?
I have a 2120 in one sitting, 2170 superscore and a 3.6 GPA, and I received $5,000 for SAS but nothing for pharmacy

More specifically, did anyone receive a Scarlett Scholarship for the PharmD program, and if so, would you mind sharing your stats?

I just read a different article that says that the Henry Rutgers Scholarship isn’t just for NJ residents, that it is awarded to the top 100 applicants. Earlier press releases said it would only be awarded to the top instate applicants. Apparently, that is not the case. Now I’m confused. Why hasn’t Rutgers been more specific about the exact requirements for receiving this scholarship? Also, I am assuming that many of these top 100 applicants would have already gotten the Presidential scholarship, which is a full ride. So why would they get another scholarship on top of that? Does anyone know?

Most people who got it had the trustee

I personally know around 10 people how received a Presidential Scholarship this year and none have also gotten the Henry Rutgers one on top of it. There’s no way Rutgers is going to straight up pay people over 5k a year to come to Rutgers. The only people who have posted about receiving one so far had a Trustee Scholarship.

And just a clarification, the Presidential is not exactly a “full ride”. It is a flat 25k per year that does not adjust with tuition + fee increases. For students in Pharmacy, Engineering, and SEBS, it actually does not cover the full cost of tuition, fees, and room and board. it ends up being like around $700 short. This is because these schools have a higher tuition than SAS and others. I don’t understand why they don’t adjust the amount of the Presidential Scholarship based on school, but your guess is as good as mine.

Any scholarship that pays all but $700 a year is essentially a full ride in my book!

Does anyone know if out-of-state students, if they receive the Presidential, can get more (like the trustee) on top of it? Its still about 15000 dollars short for us.

I have never heard of an OOS student receiving more than the presidential, so I sort of doubt it.

How do you know if you’ve been accepted into the honors college? I got a 13k Trustee and a 6k Henry Rutgers scholarship for RBS and CEHS
Is the Henry Rutgers scholarship only for instate students? I am an OOS student and has received it for SAS and SEBS.
