Rutgers scholarship?

I have an unweighted GPA of 3.87 and an ACT score of 35. The website says you need to have a A grade point average for the Presidential Scholarship. Does a 3.87 count as an A grade point average? My school doesn't do weighted GPA's, but I have taken 5 AP courses and currently take classes at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.

Yes, a 3.87 is an A. But those stats are the min to be considered. You will still need to compete for the scholarship with similar students.

While it does appear that OOS students are considered, the award doesn’t increase for OOS students.

$25,000 per year, including a $11,700 credit for on-campus housing and dining. For those who choose not to live on campus, the award will be $13,300 per year.

So, it appears that once you subtract the $11,700, you’d get about $13,300 towards tuition/fees…but the OOS tuition/fees is $28,600…so that won’t even cover half of tuition/fees.

Is that ok?

I didn’t notice that the $11,700 credit was included in the $25,000. I guess I’ll chop rutgers off my list.
