-double majoring in french + com studies
-not very rigorous class load, i wanted to get my basic studies out of the way
-leadership positions in a sports club, rugby team, working at the office of a community service office on campus, tutoring at a volunteer center
-they still have my SAT for some reason and that was 1800.
-my dad is an alumni, and my brother and sister are going there now.
-applying from out of state, but residency is 10 minutes from campus

<p>GPA is kind of low, but do you think iāll get in?? i heard of a girl who got in transfer with a 2.6 but thats pretty low compared to whats on here. i applied on the 3rd and they got my stuff on the 9thā¦because i was waiting to hear whether i got this job at school or notā¦so im nervous about applying late too</p>

chrissey - It sounds look you have a great chance. You have a lot of credits and a pretty good GPA. I heard people get in with around a 2.6 as well and I also know of people who got denied with higher GPAs. I had a 3.4 last year but got denied because I only had 12 credits at the time. It sounds like they look at all aspects.</p>
<p>Chrissey - Remember that because youāre coming from a University, your GPA will be weighed different. Almost everyone here (I think there was one other from a uni) is from a CC, you have nothing to worry about. It only sucks that youāll have to wait till April!</p>
<p>Ugh, so I finally had the time to call Rutgers Admissions office (I had been getting worried because I was in a similar situation as TransferRU with the creditsā¦) to ask about how that would work since I am on a quarter system.
Well, since I still have Winter grades comingā¦ I have to wait till they receive those AND review them to accept me. Boo So I have to wait until Aprilā¦ unless they just look at them, love me, and accept meā¦ which maybe will happen if I keep calling :)</p>
<p>Oh and iAstonish, you still probably have 1-2 more weeks. I think nic and the others submitted them about a week or two before the priority date. Dontā sweat it though, thereās absolutely no way youāre not getting in (4.0, right?).</p>

<p>@nicwayfarer dude, from your previous posts I noticed that I am in almost the same exact situation as you. Im applying from CC with a 3.88 and will complete 57 credits. I got accepted into SAS and the NB business school is still in process. Just wondering, did you get your acceptance to NB B school or, as you mentioned a few posts back, still in process for it?</p>
<p>@sovok: Thats cool. I got accepted only in SAS and Business school in Newark. Iām still waiting for the New Brunswick one. Iām hoping hear from them soon.

<p>OMG ! I just checked my status again and I got into the Business school in New Brunswick guys yay Iām so happy right now. This completed my birthday present lol. Good luck for you guys who hasnt heard yet. Hopefully we will see each other in Rutgers.</p>
<p>@sovok, I literally just checked my status and I was admitted to 3 of schools I applied. New Brunswick Business, Newark Business and SAS. They reviewd my file today feb 23</p>
