Sad Deferral reflections

So yeah as the title implies- I was deferred.

Initially, I didn’t think it was the end of the world because I feel fortunate because deferral does not equal rejection. I was trying not to think about it and I tried to think of the fact that I will be happy where ever. However, I’m going to Penn tomorrow for Model Un (GO ILMUNC!!) and I just can’t help but be really sad becuase Penn is so amazing. I know this thread is pretty useless, but I figured why not share my feelings so I realize I’m not alone…

how about you write up a letter and deliver it to them!

go to the admissions office and introduce urself...you never know! Or at least drop off a letter

Xtrasweet - What bongo said! Although, I might save the letter idea as something you could write to your rep afterwards telling about your visit and how it convinced you more than ever that Penn is a great fit! Great opportunity for that.

hey xtrasweet523, are you come all the way from the far north city north of the border?

I'm also going to send a letter, but I'm still not 100% sure of how to approach it. The first semester is coming to an end, and I've had a lot of work lately, but as soon as I get some time to breathe, I'll be able to write that letter. Does anyone know before what time I should send it in?

KRabble - Here is a recent thread
