Same admittance letter for all?

I was wondering... do they use the same letter for all admits?

Mine says "You bring an impressive array of strengths to your academic endeavors. We know that UCLA will benefit from your intelligence, imagination, and energy, and we hope you will choose UCLA for your undergraduate education."

Is it the same for anyone else? Thanks! But regardless, I'm sure it's true for all of us (you can interpret "us" as you wish). :)

yes, personally i think they could have been more articulate in congratulating us.

personally, i’ve read rejection letters that were more heartwarming and comforting than this admission letter haha, but it’s still good none the less !

Same one

Well, apparently we are quite similar because I also bring “an impressive array of strengths to your [their] academic endeavors.”

Sorry, I couldn’t resist… I found that line amusing when I read it as well. Yes, I believe they do use the same generated letter.

well I guess after looking through the almost SEVENTY thousand applications is pretty exhausting… happy nonetheless!

@Andrizzle: so true. I’ve gotten rejection letters that were more comforting.

Really? My rejection letter from SDSU sucked. It said something about SDSU being a highly “academically competitive school” that had many applicants blah blah blah…

I went to a poor HS in San Diego that had a contract that guaranteed admission to SDSU as long as you kept a 2.0. I got rejected as a transfer from a CC in Monterey with a 4.0. Academically competitive my a$$
