Hey! So I’m just finishing up all my apps for CSU and had a question regarding SJSU business since it’s my number one choice. I have an 820 El Threshold and for Entreprenuership, my desired emphasis, the impact went from 762 to 805 from last year to this year. With such a crazy jump is there a chance it doesn’t do the same this year. I also noticed that International Business, my alternate major, went only from 790 to 805. This seems to be a reasonable jump. Basically should I apply with Entr. As my first choice and hope I get that or my alternate of IB or do I switch the 2 majors for a better chance of admittance and switch emphasis freshmen year:/ thanks for any help!
The EI thresholds are hard to predict since it is dependent upon the competitiveness of each incoming Freshman class. SJSU does not consider your alternate major, so if you do not make the EI threshold for your 1st choice major, you will be placed into undeclared. I would apply to your first choice major and hope for the best.
