My cousin is a junior in high school. He is interested in these colleges. Which one is better for accounting? Or should he go to community college? Cost is not a factor.

If cost is not a factor, go to the private college. As you note, basic accounting can be learned at a juco, so cuz might as well have a fun collegiate experience.

SCU > than the other 2. Campus is one of the most beautiful in the nation, small size and frosh LLCs create community, decent athletics, Jesuit dedicated to educating the whole student.

Another suggestion: The top accounting firms recruit heavily at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga which shares a lot of applicants with SCU.

Now if your cousin wants a larger campus and wants to be in Southern Calif. He can’t go wrong with UCR. I know student’s who have been very happy there.

Seems like Santa Clara University is pretty much the better choice. I believe that my cousin has a good shot there but not guaranteed.

SMC is less selective than SCU so if he is looking for a private safety in the Bar Area it is an EXCELLENT safety!
