@guy6127 it said gas, but yes.
@Fossie Liquid was mercury, corrosive gas was fluorine. I put CE for the lab question regarding hydrates, because that’s literally how I did my hydrate lab.
Yeah it’s the same questions because I got the Plutonium question as well, it was the heaviest one from memory. I forgot the equilibrium question’s answer but I think it was just a matter of reading the graph provided. I found that question regarding the CS2+O2 to be quite confusing and it turns out that I didn’t get it. Also, I answered that all diatomic elements are not gases at room temperature lol
I think that the curve may be a little more generous this time, so perhaps -4 would still be 800? @mihirt19 did you remember that balancing question regarding the nitrogen that required a fraction as an answer? I thought that was weird…
@blu5959 The cutoff for an 800 is an 80+ raw score.
Yeah the products were CO2 and SO2, and the options were CO2, C, and SO2 so I think I got that right but which balancing question with nitrogen?? I don’t remember that; I only remember the BiOCl3 and C3H5OH and the ionic one; but do you remember the 3rd or 4th question that asked what is used to dilute an acid? Was it the graduated cylinder? Yeah I think -4 still will be an 800
The graph for A+2B
Time was 40 right?
Actually I’m not sure about that equipment question either. I put something else because it says accurately dilutes an acid and the graduated cylinder doesn’t seem that accurate to me haha
^ was that the 3rd last question? I completely forgot it
And by the BiOCl3 and C3H5OH do you mean the question regarding which of the substances, when dissolved in water, would produce neutral solution?
Yeah I was thinking burette but I felt like that would be too much effort hahah I tried to google but I can’t find anything
No but it was towards the very end of the test. There were two questions for the same graph
The C3H5 was like the 2nd or third question on the longer multiple choice part; it was balancing
The biocl3 was also balancing
The last question about unionized HF molecules was 0.008 moles right?
Hi!
I’m taking chem subject test next month. Out of curiosity, if you guys compare the test you took yesterday with the practice tests on Barrons, what was easier?
I found this to be much easier than any of the tests of Barrons
@mihirt19 yes.
@blu5959 First one was the volumetric flask. I use that all the time in the lab (I choose based on the volume I need) to dilute acids. Second one was obviously burette.
Just out of curiosity, do the two of you have any lab experience?
@basedchem thanks
@inshm2016 it was much much easier; I have a few 1990 collegeboard sat chems if you want a link; they’re pretty much the same as the current one
