- again. Nice to know I suck at math. brb crying throughout break
Mine says “not yet available”. About how long will it come out for me? And does anyone have a sense of what the math 2 curve is?
790 ! yay
770, should i retake? i really want engineering and the top UCs and USC
I left 15 blank and got a 770 was the curve really low?
@nishaus Definitely. I got like 8 wrong (no more than 10) and omitted 1. Usually, every point after the cutoff for an 800 is a slippery slope, but I think there might be duplicates this time. But, omitting 15 is not possible for a 770. Are you joking around?
Well, I’m screwed.
@basedchem Nope, I really did about that many blank. Maybe my memory is a bit wrong and I feel like I did worse but I definitely omitted atleast 12-13. And If you answered them wrong, you lost points for those in comparison to mine where I didn’t attempt them so that would have made a diff too?
omitting 12 would be equivalent to getting 10 wrong, which is… still considered normal/borderline high for a 770?
I got a 740.
Is it just me or was the curve for this November test harder than before? I got a 660, which seems strange to me because I only omitted 2-3 questions and checked most of them, so unless I got more wrong than I thought, the curve was more harsh? I really wasn’t expecting this…
I am aiming for most UC’s and schools like Michigan, GT and UIUC. Should i retake a 780
@OMGBerkeley Why are kids so apt to waste a good Saturday morning…
@basedchem just curious, how much weightage do subject tests play in uc admissions
@OMGBerkeley don’t retake it. Especially since UCs require you to send all of your scores. You’d just look pathetic to retake it for a 20-point increase.
@AwesomelyParadox I also omitted 2-3 questions, but didn’t have time to check the others and got a 790. Many people got a 790 which also seems kind of odd.
@OMGBerkeley Not much, especially since it’s not required.
Is a 750 worth submitting? I was pretty happy considering I was getting 500s on all the practice tests but I know a 750 isn’t that great of a percentile.
These are the schools I’m applying to:
Bentley
Boston U
Bucknell
Clemson
Dickinson
Elon
Lafayette
Lehigh
Penn State
Tulane
U of Richmond
Villanova
Wake Forest (ED)
@jetslife08 A 750+ is great for the majority of schools.
