i'm wondering what the best books are that i should use for the SAT 2 physics and math level 2 if i'm aiming for 800s. Thanks...

Math

Barrons + 3 online sparknotes tests.
Try getting around 650-700 in the barrons practice tests. If you do this...u will be set for 750+. (they are super hard).

Physics

Do Princeton Review + Kaplan. Dont do Barrons (its too too hard and has some unnecessary topics).

Hope this helps. :)

Thanks, Sachit...

Anymore suggestions?

So, what are some of the things covered on Barrons that aren't on the test? (I'm independently studying from Barrons)

How are the sparknotes books for both MathIIC and Physics?

I used sparknotes for physics. Really liked the book and it landed me an 800.

Are the sparknotes tests on par with the actual SATII test?

I think they are a bit harder. I scored between 690 and 740 on the practice tests.

ahh I see.. Thanks much!

Does sparknotes cover all the material needed? (for physics and math level 2 )

Sparknotes covers a bit more than what's on the physics exam. I am not sure about IIC.

I am also taking MATH IIC and Physics this OCtober

For math, Barrons is all you need.

For Physics, i used PR Kaplan, and i just read though Sparknotes.
Personally i think the sparknotes tests are a bit harder than the PR tests.

Does any one know how the sparknotes and Princeton Review Physics tests compare to the real thing?

So... what are some of the trivial topics covered on Barrons that aren't on the actual SAT II Physics test? (I'm independently studying from Barrons)

How many questions on the SAT 2 Physics deal with E&M? Only a few?

how is pr's physics and math 2? As for sparknotes , what are the materials which are unneccesary? As for Barron's math 2, isn't it just way too hard compared to the real thing? Thanks...

Icedragonad, did you take AP physics?

Did you use anything in supplement with Sparknotes' Physics Prep Book?

I took physics last year (junior year), and I'm thinking about taking it in Nov., but I'm afraid I may have forgotten too much or will just flat out not do well :( Thanks for any assistance!

P.S.- Are there practice tests in Sparknote's Prep Book?

how many questions come from waves and solid and fluid mechanics?

bump

anyone that can answer anything

Why didn't you just take Physics in May right after you finish AP Physics

because some people are seniors genious
