Sat and stanford

I just took today's SAT and I feel as though I totally messed up....

Predicted scores:

(I used College Board scaled score converter)

Math: 710
Reading: 620
Writing: 650

That is definitely not my best!

Questions:

DOES Stanford care how many times I take the SAT, (i.e. more than 3 times)?
I have excellent GPA and extra cirrics, but this SAT is bringing me down...

Tips?
Chance me please!

I’d imagine so, Stanford has made it known that they want to see all your scores and do not want applicants to use Score Choice.

To be competitive at Stanford without a hook, you’d need over 250 more points, which is pretty tough to achieve when you’ve already taken it more than once.

It’s probably a better idea to focus your energy now on writing really great applications for schools you have a better chance at.

Well actually I have only taken the test one, but I’d imagine that my score isnt going to change much…
I feel though that I have some great background, but I dont know that that could cover for my lagging SAT score…

But yes I do understand, hmom5, I guess I am just going to have to stree my app for UC schools such as UCLA and UC Berkley…and some other UCs

The only thing that can help a low score is being a recruitable athlete or URM.

You’ve got a couple more test dates for RD, have you tried a tutor?
