Based on personal experience, can anyone recommend which book (Princeton Review or Barron's) is the most beneficial in preparing for the SAT II Biology Test?

Or, would it be better to read both books? If this is the case, any advice on which should be read first?

Thank you!

I didn’t study specifically for the SAT II but I studied for the AP Bio exam and took the SAT as an afterthought. I used both and found that PR was better at teaching new subjects and Barron’s was better for detailed, in-depth topic review. I personally prefer Barron’s because it covered more than was on the test so I felt overprepared, which is always better than being underprepared. I think you really only need one, but if you are going to get both then I would recommend skimming PR (spend a bit more time on topics you are less familiar with) and then actually reading Barron’s.

I read barrons and I love it,its great, and I absolutely recommend you that if you want to score perfect.but you can also both if you feel you should, but I think barrons is enough. But its good if you read barrons and PR both, then you will be super prepared, lol
