Hey everyone, just wondering if there is a specific list of vocabulary words to study for the critical reading section of the PSAT/SAT? Do Princeton Review, Barron's, or Kaplan (and others?) release vocabulary lists to study? The only problem I have with the CR section of the test is the vocabulary section. Can someone recommend/link a list of words to study? Much appreciated

Get Direct Hits Volumes 1 and 2.

first off remember that the sentence completion part of the sat is relativly small in itself, and most of the questions you should get right through logic and process fo elimination. So keep in mind this tedious studyin gof words for hours on end will be solely to raise your CR score by 20 pnts (2 questions). You may find one or two of the words on a sentence completion that you would have gotten wrong otherwise, at best. But if your commitedd and you think those two questions are worth it, then i (and im sure most of cc) would recomend direct hits, core vocab of the sat. I bought it. it’s really good, but only get the second if you plan on finishing the first 200/300 words. I jumped and bought both, and im not even half way done with the first book. But if your an avid movie watcher and pop-culture fanatic than it will be really relatable. It sites the same movies in its examples over and over again. The Bourne Ultimatum, Harry Potter 5, Knocked Up, 300, and others. But DONT get one of those 3500 word lists from Kaplans or BArrons etc.
