Here are my sat scores SAT maths-710 , writting-700 and critical reading-590. I got a 110 on the web based toefl. I was wondering whether i should give the sat reasoning again or should i give the sat subject test as now only the january testing date is left. So does my toefl score compensate for my critical reading score or should i give the sat again?

I would suggest you chuck the SAT subject tests and maybe reappear for the SAT.

The decision really depends on which colleges you are applying to. Maybe you should google which colleges require or highly recommend the subject tests and see if your colleges are on that list? If you are applying for engineering courses to top universities, SAT Math Level 2 and SAT Phy/Chem subject tests may be extremely important for you.

Also, the TOEFL score does not compensate for your CR score. It is just a formality for your visa and a proof of your english speaking and writing abilities, not a substitute for CR.

Like princeton said, TOEFL is just a formality for the visa and proof that can you comprehense, read, write and talk in English.
