Well guys, CB is up to their nasty deeds yet again and now int'l candidates have a completely different test with (I think) different experimental sections. So hooray!! for the mega pain in the butt that int'l students (like me) will have when deciding whether or not to cancel their scores.

So here are some of my responses. Please let me know if any are wrong. Feel free to discuss all questions/answers.

MATH

4pi*r^3-answer to the cylinder question

2*3^.5 for the length of AB (the question with similar triangles one of which with leg x and hyp. 2x. A circle was drawn as well)

y=k/j*x for the slope question (last question b4 fill-ins)

58= number of integers (fill-in answer). Numbers that were valid were 2<x<59.

x=3, x=7 for the one with curve f(x)= x^2+bx+c. This question include point 5,-4 as the minimum and f(1)=f(9)=12. You had to use simlt. equations. Final equation to solve was x^2-10x+21=0.

2/3 and 10/7 were some grid in answers.

21 was the question with marbles (black=3*#red...something like that). Question asked to find possible #of total marbles.

Answer to the triangles in rectangle question (number 10) was 1/8. This was a super-hard for a question 10 (at least for me). You had a triangle with the width with the same width as the rectangle but its height is 1/2 the length of rectangle. This means that if the area of rectangle is 16 (16 height, 1 width=this is just plugging in) then area of triangle is 4. Now for the bigger triangle, the height was 3/4 the rectangle's length, which means the area would be 6. The area of smaller triangle is 6-4=2. Percentage of total is 2/16=1/8.

Answer to the question with all values in set X are in Set Y was D i think. Others didn't work in all cases.

If someone can list the fill-ins from 15-18 it would help because i forgot them.

CRITICAL READING

CR was a tough b*it&h. Some words i remember that were on the test (not necessarily right or wrong) are: filibuster, gerrymandering, chicanery, zeal, debilitated, remonstrance, dissolute, dilapidated (this was a right answer--to bad i got it wrong. +_____+), pompous, (this was CR), and inquisitive (CR as well).

Experimental was Disneyland one i think. Not to sure which vocab was on that part of the test. Any help on that issue would be nice. Here is what other passages i had (maybe to jog your memories): one about a weatherman, one about genetics/lullabies, one about an African American businessman, another about Disneyland, and finally one about female artists/social society.

WRITING

For the writing section, there was one which was really ambiguous. The one about the vice-president's announcement. It something like"workers on the project". It was difficult to discern whether or not the "on" was referring to the ill-will (which would make it wrong) or the workers were literally members of the project.

Also for number 13 on section 10 i put the red cross lady "and would be...". I was thinking about putting B (something about "equal as paid a man"), but changed last minute. Might be wrong on that one.

Additionally for the one about the Maio statues that the villagers destroyed during "warfare", I said that "have themselves" was incorrect because the verb was not in the proper form.

Finally for the one about the vice-presidential family, i put E no error. That was quite tough as well.
