well, i am one. just curious, how many students at your school find SAT studying fun and enjoyable? we have SAT Club as a registered club at my school, and im the president..

anyway, id rather spend 40 bux on SAT than some new clothes ANYDAY

I find it hard that there are high school students out there that do SAT for fun. I can imagine 40-year-old college professors taking them just for a good ol' saturday fun, but not 17-year olds.
I find SAT's stupid. I would say that the SAT registration fee is probably the worst expenditure of $40, not to mention a waste of 4 hours. :P

i really enjoy studying the sat. espically the reading part i love reading a story then answering questions about it. although my scores were low i stil love the sat its an excellent challange.

For me, taking the SAT isn't so terrible, but I can think up much, much more productive things to do with my Saturdays, like read a real book, do real math, etc. It pains me to think of what I could have spent that $40 on instead.

I don't think the test itself is that enjoyable, but the competition held among my friends and me is what makes SAT fun. When you have money riding on a test and you got competitive friends, it's just like a sport but for nerds. HOLLA.

honestly, i kind of had fun studying. i learned all this great random stuff from the reading pasages like the chemicals in celery and the mating behavior of ants...

How could anyone enjoy practicing for or taking these tests? I truly cannot associate a single redeeming quality with sitting through a standardized exam--they are long, boring, and mentally exhausting. Nothing but dread enters my mind when I think about how I have to spend four hours tomorrow taking the SAT.

"taffy, you have math contests at lunch? When do you eat?"

throughout this school year there will be 18 math contests... i think that goes into 180 school days, or one math contest every two weeks. the contest has 6 questions, and you get extra credit for showing up at lunch for the math contests... you get 1 pt for each correct answer. I think we compete against other schools. It takes like 15 minutes to do... or longer if you understand what the test is asking. Its in the math rooms and you can eat while taking it. I think on average a student gets 2 right on each test. I got 5 right on the last one, so that should help my calc grade...
