SAT I Discussion

i put tout....efficacious

oh yeah, on the Georgia question, there was one about what the girl who would work after her would feel and choices were like 1) pitiable 3) inferior..

I was debating between 1 and 3.

no, i didn't put that, there was another choice (can't remember though) which was better

umm, yes it was

because didn't it say something like the medicine was actually -------- instead of being really great?
so i put "laud....counterproductive"

i put tout..efficacious too

inferior was the answer for the georgia question (she was a woman in a man's world)

damn...i gues i got the tout question wrong....

sixer, but couldn't she also have been pitiable because of her condition?

Alan, I’m pretty sure it wasn’t counterproductive for that q.

hmmmm...it could be, but i thought that was it because from the beginning, didn't it say that she was always overshadowed and teased by the men?

I thought she was only teased because her husband sold paper bags.
I remember it said that whichever girl worked after her would feel like a slave, so I put “pitiable”, but I suppose it could be “inferior”. I just didn’t see anything in the passage that mentioned how she felt she was lower than men..

oh yes, now i remember, i think the slave part was why i put inferior, i think you might be right..

P.S. great memory, i forgot most of the CR questions and reading

Thanks. Last month, me and some guys managed to compile like 85 of the 95 SAT World Hist. q’s..

There was also a graph q in math that was easy like how much more square miles did country B have more than country A and I put 8000.

i put tout...efficacious also i put pitiable...some of the verbal was from may right?

yep, your right about 8000

ok guys...was it pitiable or inferior?????????? i put pitiable

i don't know, i think it can go either way..but since majority rules, the answer is pitiable

it was supported by pitiable...who knows...what were plato's feelings on odysseus, contempt or disapproval?

I think I got a passage on writing and being literate or something ( with Plato) on the December SAT.
