Sat i&ii or act scores?

SAT I: 2030
SAT II: MATH2 (800), CHEM (730) SPANISH (low score :/)
ACT: 33

i want to send my sat scores to yale but i got a low score on the third subject test i took to fulfill georgetown's 3 subject test policy..
and i know i have to send ALL sat scores if i were to send any..
i can technically just send my act score but i wanted to send my math2 and chem along... grr

what would you recommend?
would they consider the two highest subject test scores like dartmouth does?

Just wondering why you need to send your sat ii scores? I guess because you have an 800 in math. Your act score is higher than your sat score if you converted it. My son only sent in act scores and was accepted SCEA. Can’t answer your question about only considering the highest two.

IMO, ACT > relatively low SAT + high Math 2 + good Chem + low Spanish

thank you!

Because if you send the SAT you have to send all tests from that testing agency so that means all subject level exams. ;)

Send it all! IMO seeing your good math and Chem scores will be helpful to Yale. They’re looking for reasons to admit you, not reasons to reject you.

Yes, that is correct for Yale. Yale’s requirement is specifically the ACT+Writing or the SAT and 2 SAT II Subject Tests. But you have to send all tests that you took from a testing agency.

To answer the OP’s question, I would go with the ACT score assuming you did the writing part also (you didn’t say in your post). If you didn’t… Then you should send the ACT and the SAT + SAT II Subject Tests, since you have to send everything from one agency. I would include the ACT no matter what because it probably wouldn’t hurt, and it could help in the end.

Except for the fact that this is the Y forum and the OP specifically asks what people think they should send to Y.
