Hey im a junior in high school and i'm interested in applying to colleges with the accelerated medical programs i noticed quite a few of them require the chem subject test (HPME, Boston U) but i'm not in ap chem this year, so i'm signing up for chem at the community college for both experience and help with the test, does anyone think this class will help with the chem subject test?

It should. I just took honors chemistry and did a little self studying and made a 740. It's really not that bad.

i'd recommend looking through Kaplan and Princeton Review's SAT II Chemistry books in addition to your CC class....

another tip: take it during the fall of your senior year instead of the june of your junior year, because that's when all the AP kids usually take it, so the test (and thus the curve) is usually harder in june
