getting ready to take te chinese with listening in november.

i'm looking to get some practice/review tips and also what level of chinese would you have to be in order to do well on the test.

just to give you an idea of my chinese skill, chinese was my first language and i lived in china until second grade, i can speak and listen to chinese perfectly so i don't think i will have a problem there. but my reading skills aren't that great, i;m able to read simple stuff but my vocab stops at about 250 words. No writing section...right?...good, is that level enought for the exam or should i take time and energy to bring chinese back.

also where else can i get practice question for chinese other than the ones on collegeboard.

Beware, an 800 in chinese is like a 65th percentile since all the chinese kids take it, so an 800 isn't highly valued.

Also, I think the exam has characters and pinyin on it(not sure on this, check for sure). 250 characters might be a bit low for the exam, but that's just a guess.

250 actually should be somewhat adequate. Granted, there will be characters that you won't know but you will probably be able to decipher enough to know what the passages are talking about.

The "grammar section" has everything written out in Traditional characters, Simplified characters, bopomofo, and pinyin. For the reading section, you only get Traditional and Simplified characters.

If you want more questions, you have to obtain a copy of the Real SAT 2 book published by CB. There is a full length Chinese test inside it.
