Just took the SAT II French with Listening, where the reading comp was much harder than the Barron's prep plus the speakers mumbled and spoke really fast on the listening portion. Hope I did OK, but beware future listening take takers, since it's nothing like the Barron's, which I peeled from front to back!

Yeah I thought it was rather difficult as well. The listening part was pretty easy and the grammar wasn’t very challenging, but I was really short on time when I got to the story part so I had to rush.

Yeah the listening part- the pace was okay, but there was less time between the questions when they pause; also, they don’t repeat the dialogues twice so get used to that. One of the pictures was unclear =___= but all the tests are like that so I guess…

i just winged the test… didnt even have a book haha. I was unprepared for the listening… maybe got 8 out of 33 wrong. think i got like 4-5 wrong on the rest, and i skipped about 10 on the reading/writing section. Any idea what I got?

remember the picture of the girls outside stretching? i was thinking ***?
i put the answer as the one that mentioned courir
and the picture at the market with nuts on the table? i don’t know…

YES way harder than Barron’s! I thought the listening parts in the Barron’s book were easy breezy but on the actual test they spoke so fast!
The French test was awful. I don’t see the logic behind CB’s only releasing one official practice test per subject. It’s simply not enough.
