How important are subject tests for ivy league schools, if u have two or three scores in the 600's while having a 2210 sat and 4.1 gpa would they limit ur chances. And also when you send these scores do u send all the subjects test uve taken or only the ones you want to show to colleges.
Thanks for the help

If you are not a UR minority admit (or something else extraordinarily attractive), you want to be at about the 75th percentile on scores and grades to have about an even chance. Check out the published data.

Then give it a shot. It doesn't hurt to try.

700's are more ivy caliber.

Can high SAT's make up for lower SAT II's?

i guess so, but it's obviously best to have high SAT's and SAT II's. If you're lacking in one area, what can you do about it? You can either retake or just move on and work on other parts of your app.

I sometimes get the impression that SAT's are more important than SAT II's. I mean, it's better to have both in the higher 750+ range, but if your SAT's are already 2250+, then it should okay for top 25 schools... yeah?

yea sats are more important. i don't think one bad satII is going to kill you especially if it'd not in your major or you took it a long time ago.
however, if your an engineering major and have a 600 on math and science satIIs thats going to look bad.

ye no doubt SAT's are more important, but SAT II's help a great deal in adding to the overall picture of the applicant's academic strengths
