SAT I vs SAT II importance? stats inside

I have a pretty strong SAT (2360) score but mediocre SAT 2 (740 750 710) scores. Most of my schools require two SAT 2's but I took three and my third one is pretty low compared to the scores of other applicants to the school I'm looking at, and also pretty low compared to those of the other students in my competitive school in NJ. Which test is more important when it comes to admission? I know test scores aren't all that matter, but I'm speaking in general and related to scores only.

Thanks in advance
Dan

The SAT I is much more important. Congratulations on your score though, it is very impressive.

Some top colleges, like WUSTL, do not even require SAT IIs. In any case, your SAT II scores are very solid. Don’t worry about them!

Thank you for your help!

Bumpbumpbump. I am just curious because it seems that all the Ivy League/Stanford Results threads have people with 770+ SAT 2 scores only being accepted.

your sat II scores are good. stop putting yourself down.

you shouldn’t worry too much;you have solid sat scores.
