<p>Help I need some advice. Ok so I am in spanish 4 right before AP spanish and in regualr physics. I have just finished learning sound in physics and we just finished all subjunctive and stuff in spanish. Which do you all think is easier to get a higher score on if I study using prep book? And which prep book do you guys recommend for someone who has not learned all the material and need thorough expanations?</p>

<p>If you take a modern language, you really, really ought to take the SAT with listening.</p>
<p>Physics is very doable. According to sparknotes, one can have a raw score of 63/90 and still escape with a respectable score of 700.</p>
<p>Spanish is hard because most natives take it,
so you'll have a harsh curve to deal with.
However, as a non-native, you'd come off as extremely impressive if you can pull off either a 700+ or better yet a 750+.</p>
<p>Ask yourself these questions:
Are you exceptional at Spanish?
Are you exceptional at Physics?
How do you want to present yourself to colleges?</p>

<p>If you only have room for one more subject to test to be taken, I would go with physics. Why? It's easier to study for and doesn't require brushing up on years' worth of layered knowledge that a foreign language demands, and, depending on your major, colleges would most likely prefer a science over a foreign language. Having said that, it'd undoubtedly be a good idea to take both, in addition to the Math IIC, if possible. But remember, there could be things you haven't learned yet in Spanish. Have you covered the imperfect subjunctive? I know that we did not learn that until AP4. However, before I forget, the factor above all others that you need to consider is whether or not you feel comfortable being tested on the material, and which test you feel in your gut you would do better on. As for review books, the seemingly general consensus around here is that Barron's is good for comprehensive, very thorough review, and Princeton Review is good for quick, efficient review. Up to you. I personally think Princeton Review skims a little too lightly on some topics? I suggest going to your local bookstore and browsing through the different books to see which maker you prefer. <p>go for the physics, and princeton review. i disagree with westmere that pr skims too lightly - i felt it spent enough time in each area of physics to do very well on the sat physics (you should be going for the 800, because of the curve). get a lot of the conceptual ideas down, because as it is a one-hour test and is rather light on the mathematics.</p>
<p>the spanish sat is difficult and i think you will score lower on it. im in ap spanish and i took a practice sat spanish with listening and did not get an 800. the test is rather difficult for a nonnative speaker and its probably easier to get a 5 on ap spanish language than an 800 in sat spanish.</p>

<p>I reiterate, you have to be absolutely great at Spanish to do well.
If you've been paying attention and studying diligently all these years,
then you really shouldn't have a problem.
However, your actual knowledge of Spanish is very, very important, obviously.</p>
<p>At my school, every important aspect of Spanish grammar is covered in less than three years. However, the highest score achieved by a non-native was a 750.</p>
<p>If all you're looking for is the best score, then go for Physics.</p>

<p>my biggest regret last year was not taking more than one sat II, mainly b/c i was too scared to do so. but i wish i had so i wouldn't have to do them this year.</p>
<p>lol thanks for all the help, to those who say both, im taking math 2(im in calc right now and math is my strong point), us history(ap us history, Im reviewing for ap test I think that will help me), and physics( im taking a really really weak class).</p>
