SAT II question about chances at Elite Schools

This is purely a question about SAT II scores. Assuming I am coming from an elite prep school and have very good grades, ecs, and an SAT I score. How much does one or two mediocre SAT II scores count. I have an 800 in US History, and a 690 in Lit. I am retaking Lit, but assuming I don't do better, how do these scores work for these schools.

Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Penn, Columbia, Wash U, Hopkins, Brown. Williams, Georgetown, Tufts

Also for Harvard and Georgetown how does a 670ish in Math I look as well (predicted).

All the other schools will only see the History and Lit scores (since I already sent them) unless I do very well on the retake and math I. But as of now what do these scores mean for my chances....are SAT IIs not that important?

The 690 could be raised a bit, as could the 670. However, the impact of the 670 depends on how well you've done in your math classes in school--if you've gotten straight As in math and have scored 4s and 5s on math APs, they'll realize that the 670 is an anomaly. Also, I recommend taking more SAT IIs, if at all possible. I was always told that elite schools like the ones you're applying to like to see at least three SAT IIs, even if they don't require that many.
