I'm a typical Asian - good at math, etc. (but does a lot of debate and mun stuff outside school too!) I also plan on studying math at university. What should my subjects tests choice be?

Option1:
Math II
Physics
Chemistry

Option2:
MathII
Physics
French with Listening

Option3:

Math II
Physics
French with Listening
Chemistry

I think Option 1 is too typical of Asians and will not stand out. So that's why I am asking because even though I dropped French due to IB Program, I can still prepare and am ready to prepare for it if it helps rather than taking Chem. (will go for it even though preparing French for me would take more time than chemistry, as I am taking chem class now.)

Thx for your advice.

*Is there any advantage to taking more than 3? or Is it hurtful rather?

Er, you should check what your university choices require.

If you're going into math, universities/colleges often require you guys to take certain SAT 2s.

I'm thinking that your choices will cover the requirements, and if it does, I would suggest taking the second option (French will show your ability to do well not only in math/science, but in other fields).

Fourth option you COULD do and get away with it, but then again you don't want to give an impression that you're one of those students who'll spend their valuable weekend taking a test that really won't help them much in the application process anyways.

well no meaning to be pretentious,, but I was thinking of Harvard. I don't think Harvard explicitly states 3 subjects. But I guess I'll do the second option given I can handle the difficulty of French, considering my math-science-focused schedule..
The person before said French w/ Listening is more recognized than French.
So French w/ Listening is hard, i guess. But does it matter which I take?
